Telepen has built its technology systems for libraries on more than forty years’ experience of supplying barcode and smart card systems to its customers.
Our new partnership with Lyngsoe Systems of Denmark makes us the United Kingdom distributor for their full range of library self-service and sorting solutions. Their systems are installed in hundreds of libraries world-wide.
In the past twenty years, we have developed our Sentry Access Control System for academic libraries. Using the latest in barrier entry and door control technologies, we are the leading supplier for access control to libraries. We offer a full range of turnstiles to suit every environment and budget and now we have a temporary card kiosk to automate the process of issuing temporary cards for students and visitors.
In response to customer demand, we have developed a standalone Room Booking System that allows students and staff to book group study rooms. The system offers a unique method of replacing the need for keys when a room needs to be secure.
Our new Sentry Satellite access control system enables public library services to open small libraries without staff, allowing them to remain open while reducing overheads.
Our Onyx student attendance monitoring system is designed to aid student engagement through reporting of absences from lectures. The system is now being developed to interact with other points of engagement with the institution such as the library and logins to the student portal.
The Company is ISO9001 accredited, and we provide a full after-sales service including on-site maintenance.
