Unique library furniture

We are a Swedish international company with experience of installing more than 450 complete libraries throughout the world, ranging from prestigious national libraries to information centres, universities, schools, corporate libraries and museums.

With over 30 years’ experience in developing and exporting library systems, Lustrum’s co-founder and managing director Ulf Elander is dedicated to ensuring that our unique Littbus and Librum shelving systems remain innovative, flexible, economical, ecological, and equipped to meet the needs of libraries today.

We are committed to ensuring that Littbus and Librum are the strongest, most functional, most environmentally friendly systems in today’s market. By supplying a superior library shelving and support service, our aim is for Littbus and Librum to be the choice for unique library furniture.

Our commitment to customers – wherever you are

To help us provide the best solution for each customer, we prefer to be involved in the early stages of project development. Architects, librarians and other clients consult with us frequently during all stages of library planning.

We offer a layout service that is compatible with architects’ CAD systems. We can also arrange visits to previous installations, if appropriate, and/or showroom visits with our local dealers.

We understand that every client’s needs are different. Yet the focus that we apply to each project is the same: we listen to the client’s ideas and respond to any specific requirements they set out for us. It’s these positive challenges that inspire us to innovate further, so the service we offer our customers can be even better in years to come.
