- National Conservation Service
- The National Conservation Service is a new consortium aimed at supporting libraries, archives and businesses to care for their collections. NCS is based at the Royal Institution and operates in association with University of the Arts London.
- Preservation Advisory Centre
- Supports the preservation of library and archive collections of all types through the provision of preservation management tools, training and information services.

- British Standard 5454: 2000 Recommendations for the storage and exhibition of archival documents.
- This standard is for use by archivists, librarians, conservators, museum curators, architects, designers, contactors, engineers and others concerned with planning, construction, equipment, maintenance and working of such repositories.
