Detailed description:
The building is designed to be fun and exciting for people of all ages to learn. It is a steel framed angular building with few straight lines externally. Timber clad, with coloured rendered, and zinc cladding to the roof, externally, with glazed curtain walling internally. The building is on three floors housing the library, offices and learning centre on ground and first floor. In addition Wednesfield Community Association has a Community Hall and Lounge on the ground and flrst floor, and the local Neighbourhood Team has office space on a third tower floor. The building will be fully accessible with two lifts, and disabled parking bays. It is located on a newly opened pedestrian piazza with fountains, performance and seating areas, linking the traditional Wednesfield village with the newly opened retail park.
